Payment explained
- To ensure a smooth vehicle financing experience, you can choose whether to set up Direct Debit for your monthly payments or opt for another method. Please note that the initial payment cannot be processed via Direct Debit and must be arranged separately. All payment details and invoices will be available in your leasing account.
- Once your vehicle is ready for delivery, the initial payment must be completed beforehand. Monthly invoices will be issued within the first three working days of each month and are payable within five days.
Vehicle road tax
- The cost of road tax is calculated based on the applicable tax rate at the time of your quote and is typically charged annually. However, upon request, this cost can be included in your monthly payments for added convenience.
Access to your invoices
- You can conveniently view your monthly invoices online or in your app. If you don’t have an online account yet, simply email us at info@stxfinance.com, including your contract number, vehicle registration number, and preferred email address, and we’ll assist you in setting one up. Additionally, your monthly payment amount can be found on the first page of your contract. We will also communicate any additional charges, such as fines or maintenance costs.
Financial concerns and payment challenges
- We understand that financial situations can change. Please note that missed or late payments may negatively impact your STX Finance credit rating, potentially making it harder to secure credit in the future. If payments are consistently missed, we may need to recover the vehicle, and you will be responsible for any associated costs. Should legal action become necessary to recover unpaid amounts, additional legal fees may apply.
